Opal is a marketplace for non-sexual social companionship. If you'd like someone to go to an exhibition with, try a new restaurant, or walk a coastal track, you can book a verified Opal by the hour. And if you enjoy those things and like meeting new people, you can offer your own time as an Opal — setting your own rate, your own hours and the activities you're happiest to share.

How we keep it safe
- Strictly non-sexual companionship. Sexual services are banned, and reported accounts are removed.
- Adults only. Every member confirms they're 18 or over with a live selfie check before they can book, message or be booked.
- Meet in public. Opal bookings are for public places, and we suggest a first meeting in daylight.
- Report anything that feels off. Our safety team reviews every report.
